Archimede Watches

Archimede Watches are produced in Pforzheim, Germany by the watch making company called Ickler. With 80 years of experience behind them the company has carved a niche in the creation of outdoor watches.  Collection names like ‘Pilot’, ‘Rally’ and ‘Outdoor’ position the Archimede brand of watches amongst the world’s other great sports timepieces.  Continues below...

The Archimede Pilot’s watch is designed to have excellent visibility of the watch face.  Containing a large area made functional with numerals that are luminous for night readability. The body is encased in a stainless steel unit, finished with a sapphire crystal face.  This Archimede watch retails for $345.  Very similar in looks but with 50m of water resistance is the Archimede Arcadia.  This watch also shows hours and seconds on the watch face.

Ickler was motivated by the sport of Rally driving to create the Archimede Rally watch.  Similar to the Archimede Pilot watch, the Rally boasts a high level of readability.  From a performance perspective, the ETA 2824 automatic movement is reliable and exact, ideal for meeting the demands of rally drivers.  The Archimede Outdoor collection also uses the same automatic mechanism as the Rally series.  In addition the watches are slightly more robust in build to withstand the pursuits such as trekking or rock climbing.  The Sport model within the Archimede watch series utilizes a metal bracelet with security clasp for comfort and reliability.

Slightly different from the majority of the Archimede watches, the Argentum is sleek and elegant in appearance.  A minimalist watch face whereby the 12, 3, 6 and 9 positions are represented with the graceful addition of roman numerals.  A sleek sterling silver and black appearance enhance the sophistication of this design.
