Axcent Watches

Axcent watches are Swedish designed fashion watches.  Founded in Stockholm in 1996, the company focuses on Nordic design and engages with award winning Scandinavian designers to create the stylish timepieces.  Axcent is owned by a large European watch company called Klockgrossisten i Norden who also own Ur&Penn, a Northern European watch retailer.

The marketing of Axcent watches involves reviews in American magazines and the brand has engaged the interest of several A-List celebrities who have included Axcent in their wardrobes.  One of the spokespeople for the Axcent campaigns is movie celebrity Leonardo Di Caprio.  Other stars who wear Axcent watches include Robbie Williams and Kid Rock.  The watches have also been worn in movies including X Men II, Catwoman and I Robot.

Axcent watches are designed by both established and up and coming Scandinavian designers.  The company has structured some alliances with leading design schools such as the National College of Arts and Design in Sweden where they recruit designers and stay abreast of latest design trends.
