The Bertolucci watch company was founded by Pisan Remo and Pierette Bertolucci in the 1980s in Neuchatel, Switzerland.  The company has always operated with excellent business acumen and has sought to expand through forging partnerships with retailers and distributors worldwide.  The Bertolucci watch brand is represented in over 30 countries and their watches are popular for their contemporary designs.  The company is now a part of a wider group under the leadership of international businessmen from Nestle and Phillip Morris amongst others, yet the Bertolucci family still remain firmly involved in the aesthetics learned over two decades of watch making.

There are six collections in the Bertolucci watch range providing a distinct set of styles for ladies and men.  The watches feature high quality materials such as stainless steel, platinum, gold and sapphire crystal.  Decorations of the watches include diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds and the straps are made of superior metals or world-class leather.  One of the most popular lines is the Serena line for ladies which is characterized by a perfectly elliptical face curved to meet the wrist for comfort and beauty.
