Blu Watches

Blu watches were launched in 2000 with Bernhard Lederer as the creative and technical founder.  Lederer was born in Germany in 1958 and from a young age was engaged by the workings of watches.  He self taught himself in the beginning and then took on an apprenticeship at the Abeler Museum in Wuppertal.  The work mainly involved restoration and Lederer learnt how to manufacture parts that were missing or past repair.  He then set out on his own in 1985 and specialized in the restoration and reconstruction of vintage watches and clocks for auction houses, museums and private clients.  Five years later he became an integral part of Blu watches and he has grown the company to an international brand manufacturing around 800 watches a year.  Continues below...

Blu watches are exclusive timepieces that are elegant and classic in design.  The Blu watch lines are called Eternity, Infinity and Celebrity and are all fashioned with round dials and minimalist face decoration.  They average in price at around US$150.
