Blu Watches
Blu watches were launched in 2000 with Bernhard Lederer as the creative and technical founder. Lederer was born in Germany in 1958 and from a young age was engaged by the workings of watches. He self taught himself in the beginning and then took on an apprenticeship at the Abeler Museum in Wuppertal. The work mainly involved restoration and Lederer learnt how to manufacture parts that were missing or past repair. He then set out on his own in 1985 and specialized in the restoration and reconstruction of vintage watches and clocks for auction houses, museums and private clients.
