Catamaran
Watches
Catamaran
watches, the Swiss watch brand, was founded in 1983 in La Chaux-de-Fonds by the
Swiss watch factory Consul, in response for watches that had more character for
the demands of sporting and leisure past-times that people seemed to crave. The
Catamaran brand that was always willing to offer a new, attractive product with
a timeless design that met the needs of new wearers, was
perfect. Elegant and racy, Catamaran watches are the symbol of fast
yachts that are out to win as well as catamarans. In fact, these small craft
became a legend by winning a gold medal in 1976 at the Montreal Olympic Games,
which made it normal that the image of
Catamaran watches are associated with
sports and leisure, later adding skiing, snowboarding and wind-surfing to it’s
timekeeping line.
Some of
the many brands are their Red Sea Gents, Seal, Tornado II, and Pro 200II.
Catamaran watches are always keeping up with the times and adding new lines and
watches to their collections.
In
April of 2007, a new
Catamaran Swiss Watch will be introduced at the Basel Fair.
This will be a new, exciting high-end sports watch for professionals in all
fields. With the new “Global” family made by Catamaran Swiss Watches, other
varieties and models will also be available. An example is the Global Chrono
Quartz, a water resistant watch (to 660 feet) with a high-resistant stainless
steel case, scratch proof sapphire, Swiss Quarts Chronograph, in water repellent
color bands of black, white, blue, red, yellow orange, or stainless steel. With
its experience,
Catamaran has taken up the challenge of the new
century.
