In
1969, a major German collector, Adolf Benz started manufacturing specialized and
complicated wristwatches and pocket watches. He named his company Comor Watch
Company. Born in 1924, he studied social economics before joining the
association of the Swiss watch industry. One of the model lines he released was
based on an index mobile, which was contract produced for Comor by Dubey and
Schaldenbrand. The model line was signed variously as Comor or Adolf Benz and
was cased in stainless steel, gold plate or solid 18k gold.

Comor Watch Collections
All
Comor watches have 100% Swiss made parts. Each timepiece is assembled and
controlled exclusively in Switzerland and registered. The components are the
highest quality including the case materials. The stainless steel used is
reference 316 and the gold is 18k rose gold. The exclusive dials are hand
developed by master craftsmen, in some cases requiring more than 65 operations
in the process. Each Comor watch movement whether modern or vintage, has been
meticulously assembled and controlled by master watchmakers and then hand
engraved by specially trained Swiss craftsmen. In this way continuous
improvement has been made and it earned Dubey and Schaldenbrand a reputation for
quality timepieces.
