Consul Watches

The Consul watch brand is a leading brand of the legendary Swiss makers which celebrated its 100^th anniversary in 2000. Initially it was started as a small watch production shop by Francois Huguenin in one of the suburbs of the capital city of Berne in Switzerland in 1900.In 1904 the Consul saw their first export. By the end of 1915 the company already started exporting 40 percent of their annual turnover. Charles Virchaux the son in law of Francois Huguenin joined the company in 1926. By the end of 1946, almost 92 precent of the Consul watches started receiving the grade of excellence after being officially tested.  Consul attained the 100 percent level in just 9 years.
