De Witt watches are a
custom brand of watches. Only produced in small quantities each watch is made
only by one watchmaker and they are authenticated by the individual watchmakers
stamp. The company first launched its brand at the Basel World fair in 2003 and
since then has developed a steady following of admirers. The company is active
in the community and in addition to sponsoring several foundations and
charities, the company regularly exhibits in countries around the world. The
J.Osawa watch group owns the De Witt brand.

This
brand has 2 main variations - DeWitt Academia and DeWitt Lena with 2 and 4
sub-variations each respectively.
DeWitt Academia Chronographe 1940 has 43mm case of white gold, an alligator
strap, Sapphire crystal and a silver dial. Water resistant up to 30 meters, it
has a hand wind chronograph movement, showing sub-seconds.
A
second variation of DeWitt Academia is DeWitt Academia Chronographe 1940 made of
a 43mm rose gold case and a silver dial, Sapphire crystal and an alligator
strap. Having a hand-wind chronograph movement showing sub-seconds, is water
resistant up to 30 meters. The price of this De Witt watch collection ranges
from $30,000 to $50,000.
DeWitt Lena Petite Seconde has a 48 x 40 mm case of stainless steel with an
alligator strap, Sapphire crystal and a black dial. A self-winding watch, it has
an automatic movement with small seconds and is water resistant up to 30 meters.
The price ranges from $5,000 to $10,000.
