Delbana Watches

Delbana is a Swiss watch made of hypoallergenic stainless steel and 18k gold or palladium plated. It has a high quality Swiss movement. It is resistant to water up to 50 meters and comes with a 2 year International Guarantee. The company has a reputation of being a leader in the performance and design of watches and is quality conscious right from watch production, design, assembling and final quality control.

Oskar Kessler worked with famous watch companies, gained experience and started his company, Wega in 1919. In 1954, he started producing wrist and pocket watches, sold worldwide. The mechanical movements of watches were designed at one place and passed through strict quality control tests. Goliardo Della Balda started the company Delbana in 1933. Wega and Delbana merged in 1970s due to family relations and the watch crisis caused by the Quartz movement, and Balda’s son-in-law Max Kessler ran the new company.  Today, Delbana is integrated into Delma Watch Ltd.

Delbana watches have 3 main collections –

1. Classic with Classic Automat, Montreux, Lucerne, Retro variations.

2. Sport with San Marino Chrono, San Marino, Modena, Modena Square, San Marino Automatic, Olympique variations.

3. Dress with Tango, Time Square Two Time, Elegance, Marbella, Torino Baguette, Torino Tonneau and Torino variations.

Besides the well-known mechanical watches, quartz models strengthened the Delbana collection. The brand name kept the famous reputation as a reliable source for mechanical time pieces. In many countries, but especially in former Eastern countries such as Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary etc., Delbana remains among the best known and famous Swiss products.

Today, at the beginning of third millennium, activities of Delbana were integrated to Delma Watch Ltd. and will be continued as independent line, presenting its own collection of specialties.
