Eberhard & Co. Watches
Eberhard & Co watch
company began in 1865. George Emile Eberhard was born into a watch making
family and his father passed much of his passion for watches to George. At the
age of 22, George started the Eberhard & Co watch company and created his first
chronograph pocket watch under the brand name. In the 1900s the company
established its headquarters in La Chaux-de-Fonds and sought to create watches
that met the needs of adventurers and explorers. In 1919 they launched their
first wristwatch and continued to develop new chronograph wristwatches for men
and launched a ladies collection in the 1950s.
Today Eberhard & Co
watches are sold worldwide and boast collections that include sports watches and
dress watches. Amongst the exclusive models include the Chrono, the Desiree and
the Chronometre. The Desiree is a work of art decorated with 322 diamonds. The
Chrono has a rotor made of 21 carat gold and the case back is made of sapphire
glass secured with gold pins. The Chronometre contains all the elements of a
fine watch. These exclusive models are testimony to the quality and
craftsmanship of Eberhard & Co watches.
