Christian Ruefly, a master
watchmaker in the Jura region of Switzerland, founded Edox watches in 1884.
Slowly and gradually the company expanded and in 1927 it becomes a limited
company. Due to sincere and dedicated efforts of the company, Edox watches have
developed into quality timepieces sold worldwide. In the 1970s, the first watch
in the world to show all the world’s timezone was released by Edox watches.
