This reliable and well built movement date back to 1974 and is used in many of today’s automatic mechanical chronograph watches. The movement, itself, is a very elaborate mechanical mechanism. It’s balance wheel pivot performs more than 350,600 oscillations per day and is lubricated with a single drop of oil that’s so tiny one would require a magnifying glass to even find it.
The movement also boasts one of the best INCABLOC systems incorporated within the watch that improves and maintains the precision movements that George J. von Burg is famous for. It also protects damage from shock.
Each bracelet from George J. von Burg uses the best stainless steel. The final polishing is done by hand and every detail is taken care of – nothing is left behind.
