Hanowa Watches

The creator of Hanowa watches is Hans Noll. This man arrived in Biel in 1961 to head the European sales management of a timepiece manufacture. A couple of years later, because of some change in circumstances, Noll decided to quit his company. At the same time he pondered over giving birth to his imaginative soul, a new watch company that would make the world wonderstruck. But due to the frugality of his own capital, he was unable to buy a brand for himself. So mingling together his imagination and intelligence, he came up with the word Hanowa that gives a glimpse to the union of the brand’s creator’s sobriquet with ‘watch’. Previously Hanowa watches made its name mainly due to its fanciful and haute timepieces such as pendant watches, ring watches, watch sets and clip watches.
