Rolf p. Jetzer was a collector of state-of-the-art indigenous timepieces. Devoting himself quite a number of years in collecting wristwatches and observing the designs, Jetzer began to manufacture his own line of watches in 1994. This year saw the birth of ‘Mk I’ which allured the watch market with its intriguing design on its dial. The premier edition of this timepiece came in gold (white and yellow) and in platinum and was bought as soon as it appeared in the market. The simple and unadorned case of Jetzer et Fils watches are fabricated from 18k gold in all its hues- yellow, white and gold. The sapphire glass has a hardness rating of 2000 Knoop which makes the dial extremely robust.
