The solo journey of Kees Engelbarts started in 1997 where he contemplated on creating fascinating and artistic watches where the nick of the technician wouldn’t mar the look of the watch. He thought that more reasonable would be christening the timepiece after its creator. This was the primary cause that triggered off the line of Kees Engelbarts watches.

Kees uses a unique Japanese technique in making his watches. It’s known as Mokune Gane which was invented by expert sword maker Denbai Shoami in the 17/18th century.
