Krieger WatchesIn 1985 Ira Krieger began his investigation to develop a watch that could assist water enthusiasts in determining the tidal flows of water. The aim was to create a chronometer that could also mark on the bezel high and low tide designations. Krieger Watch Collections Since the launch of this first watch, many Krieger watches have been designed and developed for serious water sports enthusiasts. These include the Lunar Chronometer and the Marine Chronometer. An interesting collection is the Mysterium collection made of clear aluminum. The process is extremely scientific and it can take up to 60 days to get the aluminum to appear clear. This combined with the finesse required to work with this material results in a production time of six to nine months for one watch. The newest collection of Krieger watches is the Gigantium. This watch is designed to be a pocket watch worn on the wrist. The straps are interchangeable and the watch face comes in three styles, stainless steel, 18K rose gold and 18K yellow gold.
