MSC Watches
The MSC Watch company was founded in Münsterland, Germany a small town between the North Sea and the Alps that continues to be an important center of German watchmaking. It was here that Manfred Schneider created watches of his own performance, beyond compare with the products of other watchmakers in his country. In an almost serendipitous manner, Manfred Schneider decided to become watchmaker in a time, where most specialists spent most time their day working on Quartz based watch movements. Manfred Schneider was influenced by the mechanical watch movement, and after completing his master examination, he opened a watch-workshop in his hometown Hiltrup, near Münster, Germany. He soon started doing all kinds of watch repairs, and quickly evolved into an experienced watchmaker, and repaired mechanical watches and clocks. Soon, Manfred Schneider was ready to create his own watch design, and MSC Watches were born. In 1998, MSC Watches debuted the Mondego, Manfred Schneider’s first watch, with a limited run of only 50 units.
Today, the MSC collection embraces 15 different types of watches, all featuring Manfred Schneider’s signature mechanical movements of the swiss ETA. Manfred Schneider is known as one of Germany’s top timepiece craftsman, giving his country top honors for his fine timepiece craftsmanship.
