The duo with a keen interest in watch creation set their workshop in the city of Copenhagen. Soon after the start of their endeavor with time, the beautiful Ole Mathiesen watches found their places in the royal Danish court which was headed by King Frederik the seventh and Countess Danner. Till 1919, the watch enterprise developed chronometers and pocket watches. Then arrived Axel O. Mathiesen who gave a new impetus to the company and its atelier commenced creating wristwatches.

In the 1960s, there was another change in proprietorship of the company. Ole Mathiesen, the issue of axel O. Mathiesen took over the watch company. A maestro in watch making, experienced in creating watches in the reputed ateliers of Switzerland, Ole Mathiesen designed a classic line of Ole Mathiesen watches which are quintessentially elegant. More than 40 years have passed since this line of graceful watches first peeped in this world; still the collection has the ability to engross any individual ensnared by the amour of watches.
