Pierre Laurent Watches

Perre Laurent Watches represent over 80 Years of Swiss Watchmaking at its finest, and are a fabulous accessory for everyday, or to collect and cherish through the years.

Founded by Paris-based designer Pierre Laurent, the first collection of Pierre Laurent watches debuted around 1980 and were manufactured in small series for a few privileged markets only. These fashionable, distinguished and elegant watches quickly caught on in the fashion world, and gained a good reputation due to their extraordinary quality and craftsmanship. In 1989, as a result the production and distribution of quartz watches in Switzerland in 1989, sales of Pierre Laurent watches increased quickly, and the brand started to receive worldwide recognition as a leader in fine Swiss timepieces. Due to overwhelming demand from customers, Pierre Laurent watches  expanded into the field of mechanical watches, and in 1991, the association with the Fabrique d’Horlogerie Saint-Blaise was born.

With time, the Saint-Blaise factory gradually developed into a full watchmaking operation, producing fine specimens of superb Swiss watches under the Pierre Laurent name. Post World War I period, watchmaking became even more advance in Switzerland and devoted watchmakers at the Saint-Blaise factory began to produce exquisite horological masterpieces, such as complicated repetition watches, using acoustical signals for hours and fractions of hours and later multi-featured complicated automatic watches. Soon after, Saint-Blaise watches enjoyed a worldwide reputation for excellence. Years later, the quartz movement conquered the world and Saint-Blaise joined Pierre Laurent.

Today’s contemporary Saint-Blaise Collection is true to the nature of the original philosophy and includes beautiful models manufactured in limited and individually numbered series only, such as references 8001, 8020, 8021 and 8022. A Pierre Laurent watch is a source of delight and function for sophisticated watch connoisseurs and collectors, representing an investment in tradition that surpasses the ephemeral in time.
