Swiza WatchesSwiza’s
remarkable innovative ethos started in 1904. The Swiss company is the
country’s oldest and the largest producer of clocks. The watch and clock brand
commenced its journey in Moutier in the Swiss Jura mountainous region. Louis
Schwab, the creator initially commenced fabricating alarms equipped with
mechanical 1-day movement. The maker mastered the craft and displayed his gift
in table clocks and alarm clock making. His works denoted a combination of

In
the year 1935 the next proprietor of the company was his son Pierre to sit on
the throne of the business. Swiza, under the ownership of Pierre Schwab,
produced some beautiful clock collections with mechanical 8-day movement. This
tradition of making mechanical movements went on until the watch world woke up
at the advent of the revolutionary quartz movement in the end of 1970s. The next
one to head the Swiza watches company was Pierre Schwab Junior. In the workshop of Swiza watches which is now located in Delemont, about forty people are working diligently and dexterously round the clock. The team at Swiza comprises of engineers, mechanical engineers, watch crafters, polishers. This team along with an administrative staff is the usher of the smooth working of the timepiece brand and its distribution service all over the world. 90% of the timepieces born in the Swiza watches plant are sold in the international market.
